Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place beef burgers on baking tray. Bake on centre rack for 20-22 minutes, turning once.
Frying Pan: Preheat a large heavy frying pan coated with a light coating of oil at medium-low heat. Place beef burgers in pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
BBQ Grill: Preheat BBQ setting all burners to medium (about 400°F (204°C)). Place beef burger directly on rack in centre of barbecue; close lid. Grill 12 minutes, turning once.
